Audley Farm again in the VTA News 2007
NIGHT
FAX
Audley Farm's Night Fax, the winner of the 1995 Delaware Handicap Gr.
2, died 6th April 2007 from complications from foaling. Night
Fax won $242,486 win wins in the Delaware Handicap as well as the Nobiliary Stakes at Laurel. She was also second in the Lady
Dean Stakes at Pimlico and the Nellie Morse at Laurel.
Retried to the Audley nursery, Night Fax produced
eight foals, five starters and five winners including Virginia-bred
Champion Miss Goodnight. Miss Goodnight was a $56,000 auction yearling who
won just over $105,000 as a two-year-old in 2006 including the $100,000 Blue
Hen Stakes at Delaware.
Night Fax's second foal, Proven by Benny the Dip, sold at Tattersall's for $220,000 before posting earnings of
$74,199 which included a third place finish in the Prix Le Fabuleux. She is also the dam of the winners Carly's Cloud (Thunder Gulch), Forest Fawn (Miswaki) in South Africa, and Night Crecendo (Diesis (GB)). Her foals raced in the U.S., England,
France and the United Arab Emirates.
Miss Goodnight, (Johannesburg/Night Fax), bred
by Audley Farm became Champion Virginia Bred 2
year-old filly 2006.
Miss
Goodnight won the Blue Hen Stakes at Del
Mar on October 28th, 2006. She is owned by CJZ Racing Stable and
Rit, and trained by Timothy Ritchey. (7-2-2-1),
with lifetime earnings of $105,460.00

Audley Farm c. in Berryville was second leading breeder of Virginia in 2006
behind Spring Hill Farm, owned by Edward P. Evans and before Lazy Lane
Farm. Audley Farm had $1,165,869 in earnings for
2006. Audley runners made 303 starts with 42
wins, 47 seconds and 27 thirds. Their top earner was Eishin
Boston who also raced in Japan.
Eishin Boston won races on both the flat and over
jumps while earning $164,330.
Audley also bred top earners Changeisgonnacome
who won $97,850 including the $70,000 P.G. Johnson Stakes at Saratoga, Miss
Goodnight, a winner of $96,160, including the $100,000 Blue Hen Stakes at
Delaware; Canadian graded stakes winner The Visualiser
who earned $78,868), Ceres Man, a winner in Japan of $68,862; and Silver
Flower, a winner of $63,700.
